About Our School

Miramelinda Montessori School is a dual-language immersion Toddler program (Spanish/English). We are part of the Wildflower Network of micro schools that promotes exploration, independence and healthy development for Toddlers age 12-33 months.

Our name comes from the miramelinda, a flower that grows all over Puerto Rico, the home of our founding Head of School, Lymichelle Rivera-Negron.

She had been a Licensed School Psychologist in Puerto Rico since 2009. She lives with her husband, two sons and a dog in Cambridge.  She grew up in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico.  She enjoys being at the beaches in Puerto Rico during vacation time and also loves to practice snow tubing and ice skating with her family during the winter in Massachusetts.
